First time with the brand

I like supporting local Asian own businesses so I was tempted to try it out in support. It was my first time trying it where the flavor was good and the typical cannabis smell was not as potent which I prefer. I think I mellowed out but unsure if there was that big of a difference or maybe I have a higher tolerance. Going to kick it up a notch with two gummies.

Awesome product!

Great flavor! I prefer this to other gummy flavors sold at the store. One is enough, but sometimes I take two for more effect. Could not recommend more!

Highly Recommend

Highly recommend these gummies! They taste great and I love being able to be really specific about what dose I want to take, unlike other brands/types. They're also super cute. Have recommended these to all my friends. If you're on the fence, definitely try these. Can't wait to try the other flavors!

FAQs

What are the cannabinoids in the gummies?

CBD: (short for cannabidiol) is a naturally-derived compound from the cannabis plant. CBD is a part of a larger group of chemicals called cannabinoids. Unlike the psychoactive cannabinoid THC, CBD is not mind-altering and won’t get you high or sedated. Many people opt to use CBD to harness the effects of the cannabis plant without the intoxicating and dependence-producing effects of THC.

THC: Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a cannabinoid that activates neurons responsible for pleasure, memory, thinking, coordination, time, and perception. THC activates the CB2 receptors in the immune system, helping relieve both chronic and acute pain. It also has other benefits, such as appetite stimulation, reduces nausea, and increases the amount and quality of sleep. Some risks of THC are drowsiness, dry mouth, rapid heart rate, and euphoria.

CBG: Commonly known as the mother of all cannabinoids, it is the first compound formed in the cannabis plant’s life cycle. As the plant matures, enzymes convert CBG into other cannabinoids, such as THC and CBD, through a process known as biosynthesis. CBG supports the regulation of serotonin, relieves chronic pain and inflammation, and has sleep-inducing effects. Similar to CBD, CBG is non-intoxicating and does not get you high like THC.

How much CBD should I take?

Everyone has their own ideal dose. Start with a low serving size to tune our formula and ingredients to your desired effect.

Our gummies have a high CBD & CBG to low THC ratio. We intentionally designed a flower-shaped gummy for easy portioning. With 1.5mg THC per gummy, we recommend starting with one, or even cutting it in half, if you are unfamiliar with your personal tolerance. For most, it takes one gummy to take the edge off, and two to create a mild high. Though tempting, go slow before consuming more. We recommend waiting 15 minutes to an hour to feel the edible’s full effects.

Where does our cannabis come from?

CBD and CBG is derived from cannabis through a process of drying and oil extraction. Reform Botanicals’ CBD and CBG comes from the hemp plant, a variety of cannabis that contains less than 0.3% THC (the legal limit). We use 100% USDA Certified Organic and U.S. grown hemp sourced from small farmers in Vermont and Oregon.

Often, CBD/CBG oil is extracted at high temperatures and pressures that require the use of ethanol and potentially harmful chemicals to “clean” the resulting oil and filter out undesirable fats and waxes from the hemp plant. At Reform Botanicals, our oils are crafted in a slower, gentler process that allows for minimal processing and the exclusion of ethanol. Although it takes more time and patience, the undesirable plant components remain stored in the plant and we are left with a cleaner final product for our customers to enjoy.

Is cannabis safe and effective?

Cannabis is showing up all over the place because of the way it acts on our bodies and minds. Some claims can be a bit outlandish, like curing cancer, so be mindful of which claims are backed by science and which claims are misinformation.

Some common side effects of cannabis include nausea, drowsiness, and dry mouth. However, everyone is different and cannabis can affect each of us in different ways depending on metabolism, other medications you may be taking, and a variety of other factors. Therefore, it is important to be able to identify high-quality cannabis, to know what dosage is right for you, and to be aware of the potential side effects that you may come across.

Will CBD or CBG show up on my drug test?

CBD and CBG will not test positive on a drug test since most testing sites are not looking for CBD/CBG in your system. Instead, a drug test is likely to look for THC since that is the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana varieties of cannabis.

Some cannabis products contain THC, CBD, and CBG. So, read labels carefully to ensure that the product you purchase has the amount of THC you feel comfortable consuming.

If you consume Reform Botanicals' products, there's a risk of testing positive because we only sell full-spectrum CBD.

Our CBD oil is crafted from full-spectrum hemp extracts, which carry small traces of THC (less than 0.3%). This amount of THC is not enough to have intoxicating effects or make you feel high.

If you are seeking THC-free CBD (products that contain less than 0.3% THC), look for third-party tested products that offer certificates of analysis (COAs). COAs break down lab results and provide transparent ingredient compositions. You can find COAs for all of our products on our website.

It can be possible to test positive for THC after consuming other cannabinoid products for various reasons. Your body may metabolize cannabis in a way that produces a false positive for THC. Or, the product can be falsely advertised or mislabeled since cannabis is currently unregulated by the FDA. To avoid purchasing unwanted ingredients, look for COAs and third-party testing. We advise you to use discretion when using cannabis products.
